Original Comedy Pilots
Lora writes for television, and specializes in character-driven comedy with fantastical elements. Her stories fight existential dread with imaginative optimism. Her script Distressed or Drowning was produced as a staged table read at The Broadwater Theatre As part of their Getting Read series, and earned a Quarterfinalist placement in the Filmmatic Comedy Screenplay Awards. And as an actor-turned-writer, she brings a deep understanding of relationships and character motivation to any project.
Lora has trained in television writing through The Pack Theater with Keisha Zollar (Dying for Sex, Astronomy Club) and Andrew Kimler (Sundance Fellow), and Script Anatomy with Lauren Otero (Wednesday, The Umbrella Academy).
